Our Delivery Network

Unlike many other services, we do not rely on third-party couriers. We use our own dedicated, trained drivers to ensure your order is handled with care and delivered directly from our store to your door. All NxtGen Mart drivers are background-checked, Delaware-based, and trained in age-verification procedures required by state law.

Service Area

NxtGen Mart currently delivers exclusively within the State of Delaware, within a 25-mile radius of our store at 1114 Ogletown Rd Ste B, Newark, DE 19711. Orders placed with a delivery address outside this service area will not be fulfilled and will be cancelled with a full refund.

Our geographic restriction is not merely a business decision — it is required by law. Our license to sell tobacco and vaping products under Delaware Code Title 16 § 2903 (Tobacco 21 Law) applies within Delaware only. We are not authorized to ship age-restricted products across state lines.

Delivery Speed

  • Standard Delivery: Orders typically arrive within 15+ minutes to 2 hours. Timing may vary based on your location, current weather conditions, order volume, and driver availability. Orders that include kitchen items may take a little longer, since those are prepared fresh after you order.

Delivery Rates

  • Orders over $29.95: FREE Delivery.
  • Orders under $29.95: A flat $3.95 delivery fee applies.

Kitchen & Food Marketplace Deliveries

We partner with local restaurants and kitchens ('Kitchen Partners') to bring you hot food made to order, delivered on the same run as your NxtGen Mart order. A few things work differently for food items:

  • Prepared Fresh: Food items are made to order after you check out, so delivery may take longer than a retail-only order. Your estimated delivery time accounts for this when your cart includes food items.
  • Combined Delivery Only: Food orders currently ride along with a retail delivery — standalone pickup directly from a Kitchen Partner is not available at this time.
  • Independent Preparer: Each Kitchen Partner is an independent business responsible for its own food preparation, quality, and ingredient/allergen accuracy — see our Terms & Conditions for details.

Multi-Kitchen Orders & Service Fee

If your cart includes food items from more than one Kitchen Partner, your driver makes an additional stop for each one before heading to you. To fairly compensate the driver for that extra time, a service fee may apply — always calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, so you know the total before you place your order.

  • 1 kitchen: No service fee — standard delivery rates above apply.
  • 2 kitchens: A modest service fee applies, capped so it never exceeds a small flat amount regardless of order size.
  • 3 kitchens: A larger service fee applies, reflecting the extra stops — still capped to a reasonable flat amount.
  • More than 3 kitchens: Not available in a single order — please check out separately for additional kitchens.
  • Large (catering-size) orders are exempt from the multi-kitchen service fee, since the tip on a large order is generally sufficient to compensate the driver.

100% of the multi-kitchen service fee is paid directly to your driver, exactly like a tip — NxtGen Mart does not keep any portion of it.

Age-Restricted Items — Tobacco & Vape Products

NxtGen Mart sells tobacco, wraps, vaping products, and related accessories. The sale of these products is governed by Delaware Code Title 16 § 2903 (Tobacco 21 Law), which prohibits the sale of tobacco and vaping products to anyone under the age of 21. Our delivery procedures for these items are designed to ensure full compliance with this law.

  • Minimum Age — No Exceptions: No tobacco, vape, or nicotine product will be delivered to any person under the age of 21, under any circumstances. This applies regardless of who placed the order.
  • Face-to-Face Hand-Off Required: All deliveries containing age-restricted items require a direct, face-to-face hand-off to the verified adult recipient. Items will not be left at the door, placed in a drop location, or handed to a minor under any circumstances.
  • Delaware Residents Only: Delivery of tobacco, vaping, and nicotine products is restricted exclusively to Delaware residents within our 25-mile service radius. We are not authorized to ship age-restricted products across state lines, and we do not fulfill any such orders.
  • Self-Delivery Only: Orders containing tobacco, vaping products, or other age-restricted items are delivered exclusively by NxtGen Mart's own verified drivers. We do not use third-party delivery platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart) for these products.
  • ID Required at Delivery: Our driver will require a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID before handing over any order containing age-restricted items. Acceptable forms of ID include: a Delaware driver's license, a state-issued photo ID card, or a U.S. passport. The recipient must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Recipient Must Be the Customer: The adult who placed the order must be present to receive the delivery. Drivers are not permitted to hand off age-restricted items to any third party, regardless of stated relationship to the customer.
  • No Unattended Delivery: Our drivers will never leave age-restricted items at a door, with a neighbor, or in a designated drop location. If no qualifying adult is available to accept the delivery, the driver will return the restricted items to our store and you will be notified. The order will be charged in full.
  • No Refunds for Failed ID Check: If delivery of age-restricted items cannot be completed because the recipient cannot present valid ID or is under 21, no refund will be issued for those items. See our Return Policy for details.

Driver Tips

Our drivers work hard to get your items to you quickly and safely.

  • 100% of tips go directly to your driver.
  • You may add a tip digitally while placing your order (10%, 15%, 20%, or a custom amount) or provide a cash tip upon delivery.

Important Delivery Guidelines

  • Verify Your Address: Please double-check your delivery address before confirming. Because we aim for rapid delivery, address changes cannot be made once an order is dispatched. Your address must be within the State of Delaware and within our 25-mile service radius.
  • Be Ready to Receive: For orders with age-restricted items, the ordering adult must be available at the delivery address. Keep your phone available — your driver may call or text upon arrival.
  • Weather & Safety: In cases of extreme weather, delivery times may be extended to ensure the safety of our driving team. We will notify you via email or text if significant delays are expected.
  • Store Hours: Orders can only be placed and delivered during our operating hours. Orders placed outside of business hours will be queued for the next available delivery window.

Regulatory Compliance

NxtGen Mart operates in compliance with all applicable Delaware statutes and regulations governing the retail sale and delivery of tobacco and vaping products, including:

  • Delaware Code Title 16 § 2903 — Tobacco 21 Law (minimum age of 21 for tobacco/vape purchases)
  • Delaware Code Title 16 § 2901 et seq. — Delaware Tobacco Control regulations
  • All applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on tobacco retail

Violations of these laws by customers (including age misrepresentation or purchasing on behalf of a minor) may be reported to the Delaware Division of Public Health and/or law enforcement.
